What’s New in Drainage? Workshops Set
Everyone interested in new drainage information and the revised
Illinois Drainage Guide should put one of these workshops on their
calendar. What everyone should know about drainage system design
and installation issues will be the theme of the workshops. University
of Illinois researchers and Extension specialists will present
highlights of the new drainage guide and recent research results.
Information on narrower tile spacing, new tile products, shallow
tile installation, nitrogen loss reduction techniques and drainage
law will be among the topics presented. A contractors panel will
discuss local issues and provide an installers perspective on
drainage systems.
The dates and locations are:
Feb. 11 at Rend Lake College, Ina
Feb. 13 at Hancock County Extension Office, Carthage
Feb 16 at Countryside Banquet Facilities, East Peoria
Feb. 17 at Holcomb State Bank, Rochelle
Feb. 19 at Kankakee Extension Office, Kankakee
Feb. 20 at Christian Extension Office, Taylorville
