a guide to the business of babysitting

What Would You Do?

Lauren is babysitting for a seven month old infant. After watching the child for about an hour, Lauren notices that the child needs a diaper change. What should Lauren do now?

Set the infant on the family room floor while she goes into the child's bedroom to get a clean diaper and wipes.
Take the child with her into the bedroom and put the child into the crib (with the sides up) or put the child into a safety restraint on the changing table before changing the diaper.
Wait until the parents get home.
