A perennial for full sun sites and well-drained soil. Better growth occurs when fertility is also low and excess moisture is at a minimum. Lamb’s ear grows to about 12 inches and blooms in mid summer. Blooms are not outstanding. This gray, fuzzy foliage plant is useful as a groundcover. Zones 4-8.
