A trailing perennial growing 4–10 inches tall. Prefers a full sun site and very good drainage. Tolerates poor soils but will not survive well when soils are wet over the winter. Flowers in late spring. Cut back after flowering to keep plant compact. Useful in the rock garden. Zones 3-7.
