Japanese Painted Fern
Athyrium nipponicum 'Pictum'

Very attractive perennial fern for its unique color and texture. Prefers shade in soils that will not dry out which can cause leaf scorch. Grows 12–16 inches tall and forms neat clumps in the garden. One of the many ferns that can be utilized for textural interest in the shade garden. Zones 4-7.
