Respect
Anger is a normal human feeling that everybody experiences. There are constructive and destructive ways to handle anger. Anger can be directed to oneself, other people, or to objects. Anger directed at oneself is most likely to be destructive.
Outward signs of anger toward the self may be actions that hurt the person. For example, an individual who is angry may overeat. Later, this action may make the person even more angry. Other times, a person may blame another for becoming angry.
When someone is angry, she may direct anger against people who have nothing to do with the situation. Instead of confronting another person about the angry feelings, the angered person may lash out at family members, friends, or others who might not even be aware of the situation.
An angry person may also direct his anger toward their surroundings. Hitting or throwing objects is an example of this.
