Biological and Physical Sciences

Students will recognize:

  • how the utilization of natural and human resources affects the quality of life.
  • the life cycle of plants.

Social Sciences

Students will recognize:

  • the need for protecting, conserving and limiting the use of natural resources in the environment.
  • how the utilization of natural and human resources affects the quality of life.

Physical Development and Health

Students will apply:

  • knowledge and experience in making healthy and appropriate choices relating to environmental and life situations.
  • the concepts of health in selecting leisure activities and appropriate equipment.

Mathematics

Students will:

  • collect and organize data to formulate and solve problems in mathematics through measurement and planning.

Fine Arts

Students will:

  • learn the relationship between balanced and unbalanced forces and motions.
  • demonstrate appreciation for natural beauty and gardens.

Language Arts

Students will:

  • read and write for various purposes, including recreation and enrichment.
