Rex Begonia

Rex begonias are large-leaved and an extremely colorful group of plants. Many types are available offering a wide array of color markings and patterns. Plants grow 12-15 inches tall, forming mounds. Rex begonias grow best when planted in the shade in soil that is uniformly moist. They can be overwintered as a houseplant if given sufficient light.
