Donation List

  • 1 box of Oat & Honey granola bars
  • 1 box of nonfat dry milk
  • 2 cans of pears
  • 1 can salmon
  • Soy sauce
  • Rice
  • Tortillas
  • 1 qt orange juice
  • 1 qt tomato juice
  • 1 can light red kidney beans
  • 1 can dark red kidney beans
  • 1 can chili beans
  • 1 packet of chili mix
  • 1 package of saltine crackers
  • 1 bag of any flavor shredded cheese

Menu

Breakfast

Oat & Honey granola bars
Milk
Pears

Food Groups: 2 servings of grains, 1 serving of fruit, 1 serving of dairy

Lunch

Orange juice

Salmon Wraps
1 can salmon, drained and flaked
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 cups cooked rice
Tortillas

Directions
1. Combine salmon, soy sauce and rice.
2. Add a spoonful to center of tortilla and roll.

Food Groups: 2 servings grains, 1 serving meat/bean, 1 serving fruit

Dinner

Meatless Chili
1 qt tomato juice
1 can light red kidney beans
1 can dark red kidney beans
1 can chili beans
1 packet of chili mix
1 package of saltine crackers

Directions
1. Strain the light and dark kidney beans. 
2. Add the tomato juice, and the strained kidney beans to a large pot. 
3. Add entire contents of chili beans can to pot along with chili packet. 
4. Cook at medium heat on stove top for 30 minutes.  Serve with crackers.

Food Groups: 2 servings of vegetables, 2 servings of meat/beans, 1 serving of grains
