Having trouble getting your grandkids to eat enough fruit? Try this for a snack or dessert.

Stuffed Apples

Makes 8 servings

Ingredients

1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup nonfat dry milk
1/4 cup crushed ready-to-eat cereal
2 Tablespoons raisins
4 apples

Directions

  1. Cut the center out of each apple.
  2. Mix together the peanut butter, dry milk, crushed cereal and raisins.
  3. Stuff the filling into the center of the apple where the core was. Slice each apple in half, cross-wise.
