Having trouble getting your grandkids to eat enough fruit? Try
this for a snack or dessert.
Stuffed Apples
Makes 8 servings
Ingredients
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup nonfat dry milk
1/4 cup crushed ready-to-eat cereal
2 Tablespoons raisins
4 apples
Directions
- Cut the center out of each apple.
- Mix together the peanut butter, dry milk, crushed cereal and
raisins.
- Stuff the filling into the center of the apple where the core
was. Slice each apple in half, cross-wise.
