Bright Ideas

If you are planning a summer vacation, pack an activity bag for the car or rainy days. A backpack filled with some fun things to do will help pass the time and decrease the number of times they ask, "Are we there yet?"

You might pack coloring books, crayons, a deck of cards, a personal CD player, magazines, books, or anything else the children enjoy.

And remember to allow time for frequent rest breaks. Youngsters need time to stretch and play.
