Numerous cultivars available from low growing ‘Kit Kat’ to tall ‘Souvenie d’ Andres Chaudron’. Prefers full sun and is excellent as a large-scale groundcover. Blue flowers in early summer with repeat bloom if deadheaded. Low maintenance. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Space 2–3 feet apart. Perennial. Hardy in Zone 4.
