Versatile groundcover for sun to dense shade. Grows 3–4 inches tall but can climb. Evergreen in areas where it is given some protection from winter sun and wind. Many varieties available that offer glossy and variegated foliage. Can also be used as a lawn substitute for small spaces. Space 8–12 inches apart. Perennial. Hardy in Zone 5.
