Juniper
Juniperus sp.

Many useful evergreen groundcovers that grow from 6–18 inches tall. Foliage color runs from green to steel blue. Best in full sun. Tolerant of dry soils. Allow room for these to spread naturally and not be sheared back. Many junipers also have interesting burgundy winter color. Space 2–3 feet apart. Woody evergreen. Hardy in Zone 3.
