Clump forming violet with dramatic dark areas on the leaves. Grows eight inches tall and prefers partial shade. Lavender flowers in mid spring. Tends not to become invasive if not overwatered or overfertilized. Space 8–10 inches apart. Perennial. Hardy in Zone 4.
