Sweet Woodruff
Galium odoratum

Excellent groundcover for dense shade areas. Prefers moist, well-drained soil. Grows 6–10 inches tall. Fine textured foliage has a new mowed hay fragrance. White flowers in spring. Attractive as a groundcover under azalea and rhododendron and with spring flowering bulbs and wildflowers.Space 10–14 inches apart. Perennial. Hardy in Zone 4.
