BTK Spray Schedule 2003

Below is the TENTATIVE schedule of spray dates and block sequence. This is an initial plan and subject to change at any moment and also during the actual treatment day. Weather and unforeseen logistical circumstances control the schedule. We have a going-to-school planned shut-down from 7:00 am to 8:30 am. This means we will not spray in areas where groups are waiting for school buses, school buses are picking-up children, or over school yards . However, during this time, we will be spraying blocks or portions of blocks where these circumstances do not exist or have been cleared.

This site is for use by municipal forestry departments, park districts, the green industry and other concerned agencies to report gypsy moth findings in Northeastern Illinois. The site will be monitored by University of Illinois Extension staff and the Illinois Department of Agriculture to assist in the effort to suppress the spread of gypsy moth.
