Last Issue

Readers, it is with great regret that I tell you that this is the last issue of Home Hort Hints. I have worked on this newsletter, first as a contributing author and later as the editor for most of my career in Extension. In this time of trying to do more with less, it has become difficult to continue to publish a 6 page newsletter on a regular basis. Thus, the June-July issue will be the last.

Many of the county offices have emailed me to tell how much they use this newsletter and how many of you have found it to be useful. This indicates to me that there is a need out there for reliable gardening information. Therefore, I will be looking into another way to get that information to you. I will take some time this summer to re-tool and hopefully will be able to bring to you a shorter newsletter with a different format. I hope to be able to do that no later than October. The details need to be worked out, but there will be some type of information available later this year.

Sincerely,

Sharon A. Yiesla
Editor
