Illinois Herb Association to Hold Annual HerbFest

ILL. — The Illinois Herb Association is proud to announce the 2013 HerbFest, to
be held June 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. at Washington Park Botanical Garden
in Springfield, Ill.

topics such as "Many Uses of Lavender," "Growing and Using
Elderberry,"(Elderberry is the 2013 Herb of the Year), and "Herbs of the Bible."

The event is open to anyone wishing to learn more about growing or using herbs. Registration is $40 for Illinois Herb Association members and $45 for non-members. Pre-registration is due by May 31 and includes lunch; on-site registration will take place from 8:30 to 9:00 the day of the event but does not guarantee lunch.
