Notes

Need very well-drained soil especially over the winter. After flowering, plants will die to the ground and go dormant. Remove foliage and allow new leaves that return to remain over the winter. Lightly mulch new plantings for the first winter. Transplanting difficult; die to the fleshy tap root.
