Alison Donoho is an Extension Outreach Associate with University of Illinois Extension. She holds a master's degree in education from University of Illinois. She also received a bachelor's degree from University of Illinois in human community development. Before joining the Edwardsville Center staff, Alison worked at University of Illinois Extension Champaign County Unit. She worked to offer youth 4-H in traditional and non-traditional settings.

Alison is the project coordinator for the ExCEL (Extension Cares for Every Learner) 21st Century Community Learning Centers Afterschool grant in the Cahokia and Madison school districts. The program focuses on four key components: reading and math academic assistance, recreational and 4-H project club activities, health and wellness education, and parent involvement. She works directly with school personnel to identify, plan and implement a 4-H based afterschool program. Her current responsibilities include program event planning and development, staff development training, program evaluation, and sustainability.
