As the 4-H Youth Development Educator - Metro for McLean County, it is Carolyn's job to take the 4-H program to underserved areas and populations in Bloomington and Normal. Working out of the UNITY Community Center at 623 Orlando Ave. in Normal, she plans programs and partners with other youth development organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club of Bloomington and the Center for Youth and Family Solutions.

She is also responsible for the SPIN (Special Interest) Clubs relating to Robotics and GPS/GIS. If you have an idea for a club for a special topic, skill or project, please contact Carolyn at 309-862-4041. She is also certified to facilitate the Poverty Simulation.

An alumna of 4-H in Richland County, Ohio, Carolyn is a proud graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Social Studies and a Master of Arts in Adult Education. She has worked in the fields of higher education, not-for-profit, and insurance, and enjoys working with youth the most!

Carolyn also coordinates the work of the Peaceful Schools Committee and YouthLEADS, both programs of the McLean County COMPACT.
