Steve Ayers provides programming in the local foods and small farms arena in Champaign, Ford, Iroquois and Vermilion counties. Ayers graduated from the University of Illinois in Agronomy and received his masters in Extension Education. He joined U of I Extension in 2003 as an educator in farm business management and marketing. Ayers specializes in farm management, leasing, farm planning, and marketing issues. Ayers hosts the Ag Answers segment on The Morning Show on WCIA television each Friday live at 5:40 a.m. His professional affiliations include the National Association of County Agricultural Agents Association (NACAA) and Epsilon Sigma Phi (ESP).
