Natalie Rodakowski is a Nutrition and Wellness Educator serving the counties of Carroll, Lee, and Whiteside. Her primary responsibility is to is to help individuals acquire the knowledge and skills to improve and maintain their nutritional well-being. This includes delivery of evidenced-based nutrition education programming. Her special areas of interest include obesity, sports nutrition, eating disorders, disease prevention, and worksite wellness.
Rodakowski has a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences (Dietetics) from Eastern Illinois University. She completed her Master of Science degree (Dietetics) through Eastern and dietetic internship through St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham. She is a Registered Dietitian (RD) and a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Rodakowski is currently the president of the Eastern Illinois Dietetic Association.
Before joining extension, Rodakowski was an FCS Instructor at Eastern Illinois University for two academic years where she also volunteered her time consulting students on campus diagnosed with eating disorders.
Rodakowski is from Boone County. She became familiar with U of I extension during her undergraduate internship in Winnebago. She currently resides in Ogle County.
