Johnna B. Jennings is the 4-H Youth Development Educator for the University of Illinois Extension in Boone, DeKalb and Ogle counties.

She earned a bachelor of science in agricultural communications from The Ohio State University and a master of education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Prior to her new position as the Unit Educator for Boone, DeKalb and Ogle counties, she was the Extension Educator for DeKalb county. Jennings also has past experience working for Ohio State Extension for five years as a 4-H agent.

She is a member of the National Association of Extension 4-H Agents (NAE4-HA) and the Illinois Extension Professionals for Youth Education. She received the Distinguished Service Award from both of these associations in 1998.

Jennings has a strong personal interest in 4-H Youth Development, as she has been involved with 4-H ever since she was nine years old. Currently Jennings' and her husband, Dan, have two daughters that are active in the DeKalb County 4-H program.
