Cordyline

An architectural plant, these plants are nearly trunkless and
have a symmetrical whorl of long, linear leaves. Leaf whorl
and color varies with the species from narrow to broad
and green to pink. They make a great focal point due to
their linear, symmetrical appearance. Cordyline prefers
full sun in fertile, well-drained soil. Keep soil evenly
moist during the growing season. Bring the plants in before
frost and grow them as a houseplant. Place where they get
bright light and keep the soil a little on the dry side
over the winter. During the summer, fertilize every two
weeks; do not fertilize in the winter.
